When changing our H₂O₂ disinfection system, we looked at 4 potential solutions. Several people around us recommended the Phileas® system from Devea, which was finally chosen for the following reasons:
Holding of a Marketing Authorisation (MA)
Optimal ergonomics of use: small, light, easy to move and to start up
The MyPhileas application allows us to find all the information from previous releases without having to print a ticket
The O2SAFE biocide in 10L is convenient, with safe and easy decanting to fill the Phileas® canister
We use Phileas® 75 with O2SAFE at 12 mL/m3 in laboratories of about 25 to 40m3 regularly (between each batch). The Phileas® – O2SAFE solution, with the MyPhileas application and the preventive maintenance contract, corresponds completely to our needs and to the description and feedback we received. It is for us much simpler than the VHP solution we had before, faster and safer thanks to the lower concentrations of H₂O₂ for the same efficiency.

We knew Devea because we already have a Phileas® 25 for the disinfection of an airlock to an L3 (P3) laboratory. We acquired a new Phileas® 25 in 2021 for the disinfection of an isolator, for daily use.
The company Devea has accompanied us well for the adaptation and the tests in our configuration which is not very standard. I appreciated the responsiveness of the teams and their concern for the performance of the equipment. We control the Phileas® 25 with the MyPhileas application on a tablet. We have just placed an order for a Phileas® 285 model for the biodecontamination of parts

“When equipping a new site, we chose Devea on the basis of the biological performance of their solutions as demonstrated in trials.

We purchased 2 x Phileas® Genius for sporicidal decontamination of isolators in our pharmacy aseptic manufacturing unit.
This was done as part of a project to replace existing isolators and the integrated VHP system that had reached the end of their life cycle.
I was able to validate the decontamination process for 6 log₁₀ reduction using Geobacillus stearothermophilus with technical assistance provided by Devea.
The Phileas® Genius meets our needs because it is portable and fits into any isolator without requiring costly modifications.
